As Learning and Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind helping the organisation scale and develop its people capability.

This is a newly created role for an experienced L&D Manager to join a scaling technology business who are driven by their guiding principles of teamwork, curiosity and pragmatic action based in Cambridge and London with 2 offices overseas.

Reporting to the Head of People, you will work closely with the People Partners to design, build and deliver learning content which will enable their teams to grow and own their own learning journey within the business.

This is an operational L&D role however you will also be comfortable thinking about the future and how the to build out capability to ensure business growth.  Not only will you be passionate about design and delivery on learning content, you will be a natural / qualified coach who will help embed a coaching culture into the business.

Areas of L&D you will be leading on include –

  • Leadership development
  • Peer networking groups
  • Talent development programmes
  • Identifying learning needs and be able to design activities accordingly
  • Building career pathways
  • Being the coaching champion fort the business
  • Building the on-line learning library of resources
  • Ensuring learning Is delivered across various forms, online, in person, 121, peer group sharing and mentoring
  • Supporting on the on-boarding process from a learning perspective


About you?

  • You will have previous experience of delivering L&D activities within technical teams  (including workshops and utilising a variety of mediums and best-practice methodologies)
  • You will use data to inform your decision making
  • You will be innovative creative and a self starter
  • Able to work on site in Cambridge at least 3 days a week
  • You’re externally aware, and a keen learner, you keep yourself up to date with best-practice methodologies and what’s new in the L&D world.
