Are you proficient in both Kurdish and English, with a background in interpreting within formal settings or for personal acquaintances? We are currently seeking a skilled Freelance Kurdish Speaking Interpreter to operate remotely from Home.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will collaborate with a leading interpreting agency to deliver vital interpretation services across diverse sectors, including the NHS and the Public Sector.

Responsibilities:

• Providing interpretation services to clients and customers with limited English proficiency.
• Assisting medical professionals in patient care and aiding in legal proceedings and customer inquiries.
• Conducting real-time interpretation via phone calls utilising specialised applications.
• Ensuring accurate and efficient translation between English and Kurdish.
• Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining precise interpretation standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience in Kurdish interpretation is preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the UK on a self-employed basis.
• Fluency in both Kurdish and English languages.
• Deep understanding of the cultural nuances inherent in both languages.
• Possession of, or willingness to obtain, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
