Primary KS2 Teaching Assistant - Blackburn

Tradewind are working with an 'outstanding ' primary school and they are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis starting ASAP- July 2024. You will be providing general support in KS2 classes.

They are looking for someone who has previous experience working in KS2 , as you will be supporting with groups as well as one-one supporting roles

We are looking for:

  • Have excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
  • Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
  • Passion to ensure every pupil succeeds and reaches their full potential
  • An awareness of their own strengths and areas for development and a willingness to listen to, reflect constructively and ac upon, as appropriate, feedback from others.
  • Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently.

Essentials:

  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
