Seeking Experienced Intervention Specialist for KS2 Class!
Are you a highly experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a difference in children's lives? We're looking for an Intervention Specialist to join our dedicated team, supporting a Key Stage 2 class.
Role Requirements:
- Extensive experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within Key Stage 2.
- Proven track record in delivering targeted interventions to support pupils' academic progress.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with class teachers to identify areas for intervention and implement effective strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing targeted interventions to small groups or individual pupils to address specific learning needs.
- Collaborating with class teachers to assess pupils' progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Monitoring and tracking pupils' progress, maintaining accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
- Implementing a range of strategies to support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Engaging with parents and carers to provide regular feedback on pupils' progress and promote home-school collaboration.
