Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Intervention Teaching Assistant to join the team at a lovely primary school in Bournville, Birmingham. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational progress of Key Stage 1 (KS1) students who may require additional assistance to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications).

Level 2 or 3 Childcare, Teaching Assistant or Health and Social Care qualifications.

Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience working with primary-aged children.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of KS1 curriculum and intervention strategies is a plus.
