Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently working with a small village Primary School in the BS35 area of South Gloucestershire. This school is looking for a KS1 Teacher from September '24.

You will have the opportunity to join a forward thinking school who have a supportive team of staff that can offer continuous professional development. They are dedicated to providing a welcoming and nurturing environment for their pupils to grow and develop.

The Role

The Head Teacher is looking for a creative teacher who can use their skills to inspire and motivate their students. Someone who can provide an inclusive curriculum to their pupils, allowing them to learn at different levels and achieve their best potential.

ECTs are welcome to apply.

You will be expected to:

  • Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children.

  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for individual children.

  • Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.

  • Build on pupil’s learning gaps by challenging and encouraging their development.

  • Plan creative and exciting activities to engage children in their own learning.
