KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant Jobs!

Hays Education are currently working in a partnership with 2 large multi-academy trusts based in Leeds, with schools in the following area's Hunslet, Garforth, Harehills, Beeston and Morley. These schools/trusts are recruiting multiple temporary full-time teaching assistants to start as soon as possible for the full academic.
These roles as a teaching assistant will be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 15:30pm, supporting children across school as a general and 1:1 teaching assistant to support in class based interventions, SEND support to help boost pupils confidence and academic participation.

To be considered for these Teaching Assistant jobs, it is essential you have:
Recent experience working with KS1/KS2
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
The ability to manage groups of children and be able to manage challenging behaviour
The ability to quickly build good relationships with students, parents and other practitioners
Have previous experience working with SEN and EAL children

In addition, it is ideal that you are;
Highly adaptable as there may be instances where you will have to cover in various classes
Confident, organised and, at times, diplomatic
Patient and creative
Have a proven track record of developing your key children
DBS on the update service
