You must be an dedicated Primary Teacher who can apply creativity to your teaching. The school wants to recruit someone who has the energy and enthusiasm in the classroom to keep everyone on their toes. You will have the skills to blend reactive learning with proactive pupil management to deliver lessons free from disruptions, inequality, or negativity. Your portfolio will include the ability to maintain your pupils' focus and the ability to differentiate effectively.

In this exciting KS1 ECT position, you will be leading a mixed ability class of around 24 pupils. Due to flexibility in the school, we are able to open this role up to KS1 & KS2 ECTs. You will also have the responsibility of taking charge of an eager Teaching Assistant who is already confident in their abilities to lead small sessions on their own. This KS1 ECT position involves increasing your understanding of what makes an effective teacher through the guidance of a successful Headteacher.
