Food Cutting Specialist

A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Knife Specialist for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Barking.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor the freshness and quality of produce, discarding any spoiled or damaged produce.
• Cut, Peel, Dice, Chop, and slice vegetables according to specified requirements of customers.
• Follow Instructions from Production supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and to meet completion of tasks in line with customer orders.
• Maintain good housekeeping of your work area by applying the Company 'Clean as you go’ policy at all times.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Experience within a Production environment
• Knife skill set experience including Cutting, Peeling, Dicing, Chopping, and slice to required measurements
• Food Hygiene Certificate / Handling fresh chilled produce
• Flexible team player
• High levels of accuracy
• Attention to detail
• Manual Handling
