Berry Recruitment is hiring! We require a Kitchen Porter to work for our client in Witney, Oxfordshire.

Salary: £11.44 - £11.90 per hour

Job details: Temp to Perm

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Hours: 0800-1600 Monday to Friday

Start date: ASAP

About the role:

As the Kitchen Porter your responsibilities will include:

  • Wash crockery, pots, pans & kitchen utensils
  • Daily clean of kitchen areas and keeping refrigeration, freezers and stores clean
  • Checking and putting deliveries away and reporting any shortages
  • Correct storage of food items and equipment after service
  • Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations at all times
  • Report failing equipment to the Head Chef

About you:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen as a kitchen porter
  • Be punctual, hard working and flexible
  • A good knowledge of Food Hygiene

This is a very busy high volume kitchen and it is important that applicants are aware of this prior to application. Own transport is preferred due to nearest bus stop on Witney town centre which is 45 minutes away on foot.
