Our client based in Hook are looking for a kitchen assistant on a temporary on-going basis that can lead into a permanent role for the right candidate.

* £11.50 per hour
* Monday to Friday
* Weekly Pay
* Hours 8.30am - 2pm

Responsibilities
* Supervise the day to day running of the café
* Assist the Café Supervisor with food prep each day for the breakfast, lunch, and the all-day offering
* Serve behind café counter and take payments on the till
* Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
* Ordering all stock for the café and on-site vending machines
* Monthly stock checks
* Receive and monitor deliveries
* Have a great understanding of the costing of the café menus
* Ensure that all areas of the café are clean, tidy and presentable

Key Skills

* Proven experience in the hospitality industry
* Sound knowledge of all health and safety regulations
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Analytic and logical approach to problem solving
* Strong teamwork skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
