SPR are current recruiting for and seeking a passionate Kitchen Assistant within Oldbury, to join the client in delivering an unbeatable pupil journey!

Essential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS – Childrens – Update Service
Previous experience preferable
Must be available Monday – Friday

Position Overview: You will be responsible for providing a professional catering service, ensuring all high standards are maintained and that expectations are met in line with the agreed objectives within a school environment.

Working Instructions:
Hours: 2 Hours, Monday – Friday (11.30am – 1.30pm)
Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour
Location: Oldbury

Overall Responsibilities:
  • To prepare the dining area
  • To prepare the service area, hot cupboards, and other equipment
  • To assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
  • To wash dishes, cutlery, tumblers, jugs, serving utensils, containers, tables, and all other catering equipment
  • To serve food according to the style and type of operation
  • To clean on a daily basis
  • To inform the cook in charge of any defects in heavy equipment or of premises not meeting Health and Safety and/or Food Hygiene Regulation Standards
