Job Description:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our Year 4 pupils, fostering their academic progress and personal development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum, ensuring that learning objectives are met and student progress is maximised.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess student learning through formative and summative methods, providing constructive feedback to students and parents to support their continued growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, maintaining open communication and promoting parental involvement in their child's education.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events, contributing to the overall ethos and success of the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching Key Stage 2 students are essential.
  • A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and a passion for delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
