Are you a Key Account Manager / National Sales Manager that has experience selling into and managing accounts of major DIY / Home Improvement businesses?

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting a Key Account Manager on behalf of their client.

In return for your experience, expertise, and sales ability my client will provide you with:

  • A competitive salary in the region of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum dependent on experience
  • Yearly bonus of up to 15%
  • Company Car (Hybrid or Electric)
  • 7.5% Employer contribution pension
  • Private Healthcare
  • Remote working but will be required to visit the head office in Gloucestershire 1/2 days per week.

About You:

  • Account Management and new Account Opening experience in a relevant industry
  • Previous mass market retail account management experience
  • Disciplined, thorough, organised, and self motivated
  • Proactive, resilient, and fast paced
  • Excellent presentation and relationship building skills

The Role

  • Create joint business plans with major customers to identify and meet their needs
  • Drive sales through excellent customer service and relationship-building
  • Open new mass market retail accounts
  • Achieve, sales, profitability and distribution targets
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Regularly report on sales activity and results
  • Sales and inventory forecasting
