Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm

The Recruitment Group is proud to be working with an industry leading company who create, design and make packaging innovations. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Sales & Business Development Director, the Customer Account Manager will be responsible for proactively managing the relationships for our in-house accounts. This position will analyse our current in-house accounts and look to upsell our sales volumes and margin measurements where possible.

Main duties and responsibilities of the Key Account Manager:
· Build relationships and extend contacts with Key Customers.
· Improve margin and organic growth with existing customers through a proactive sales/service relationship and a developed awareness of the customers’ needs.
· Implement Supply Chain Management initiatives to enhance margins and control of accounts.
· Achieve agreed planned sales, added value, stockholding and payment targets to maximise results with each customer.
· Ensure the customers’ needs are communicated to Sales administration, Operations, the Quality Team and the Management Team.
· Ensure customers operate in accordance with agreed contractual terms and negotiate terms where they do not exist or can be improved.
· Develop and maintain a professional customer relationship to improve the flow of communication, understanding and increase loyalty to the business.
· To engage directly with all interfacing elements of our customers, either face to face or via the phone at every opportunity.

Experience/knowledge requirements for the Key Account Manager:
· Previous Internal Sales Experience within the Packaging or Printing Industry.
· Experience managing a large volume of accounts.
· Comfortable analysing sales data.
· Knowledge of corrugated packaging
· High level of ability and experience in planning, preparation, and presentation
· Good understanding of marketing and trade marketing principles
