Job Role: Junior Software Developer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: GBP 25,000-30,000 DOE

A new and exciting position has recently become live with a leading IT-managed service provider.

They are searching for a Junior Software Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will feel confident speaking to and consulting clients with a passion for software development.

This would be an ideal position for someone from an IT support background looking to move into the world of software or a graduate/junior looking for the first steps of their software career!

This role requires you to work mainly on-site in Birmingham with occasional hybrid working, therefore, you will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
• Design and develop software solutions tailored to client requirements
• Provide technical expertise and guidance during client consultations
• Conduct regular meetings to update clients on project progress and gather feedback
• Customise and configure platforms to meet specific client demands
• Offer training and support to clients on using system tools effectively
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during implementation
• Continuously assess and recommend improvements to optimise client workflows and outcomes

Skills and Experience:

• Commercial experience in an IT environment
• Experience or knowledge of low-code development (Preferably Power Platform)
• Experience or knowledge of C#/.Net
• Comfortable and confident when talking directly to clients
