Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview:

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient management and delivery of their projects. You will work closely with our experienced team, gaining exposure to a variety of tasks within the realm of quantity surveying for drywall systems, drylining, and wall insulation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets.
  • Conduct cost analysis and cost control for ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Engage in value engineering to optimize project costs.
  • Perform regular site visits to assess and monitor progress.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to address commercial matters.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a quantity surveying role.
  • Familiarity with drywall systems, drylining, and wall insulation projects is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, QS software).

Salary Range: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum
