Job Title: Junior Project Manager (Mechanically Biased, Including FM)

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Salary: 45k - 55k

Job Description: We are seeking a mechanically biased Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic Delivery team. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified or trade time served from a plumbing and heating background. This role is pivotal in managing and delivering projects, including Facilities Maintenance contracts, from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will engage with clients, manage health and safety standards, oversee in-house engineers and subcontractors, and contribute to business development efforts.

Job Requirements:

  • Collaborate within a team to manage and deliver projects, including Facilities Maintenance contracts, across all current clients.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and developing new client relationships.
  • Utilize our in-house FM, IT, and integrated management systems to ensure compliant installations and maintenance.
  • Manage FM reports, generate remedial actions and quotations, and liaise directly with clients.
  • Engage with clients face-to-face to address inquiries, develop proposals, and manage tender processes.
  • Oversee health and safety standards across projects and ensure compliance.
  • Manage in-house engineers and subcontractors effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Provide monthly reporting as required to stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Time served within an MEP environment or HND qualified, with a mechanically biased background.
  • Demonstrated experience in facility maintenance and management.
  • Knowledge of various mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience working alongside construction projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
