Junior Software Tools/Platform Engineer - Guildford Area (£40k)

Be an Enabler for their software team! You will build tools and environments to allow a more efficient development, test & deployment process!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & maintain tools for:
    • Build systems
    • Version control (Git)
    • Automated testing
    • CI/CD integration
  • Integrate software tools & CI/CD infrastructure

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in software tools dev or DevOps/Platform Engineering
  • Linux configuration & deployment (VMs)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins etc.)
  • Python scripting for automations
  • Bonus points for:
    • Static analysis tool integration
    • Process automation tools (JIRA, GitLab)
    • Build systems (make, CMake)
    • Code coverage tools

Location: Farnborough, office-based

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Up to £40k + benefits
