An established organisation based in Manchester city centre is looking to recruit a Junior Packaging Artworker for its in-house studio team.

On a day-to-day basis your role will involve creating artwork for a whole host of packaging ranges. Projects will involve applying correct pack copy to designs, generating barcode labels, preparing artwork ready files for print, creating cutter guides and ensuring all files are organised & stored correctly.

Previous packaging experience is essential to fulfil this role. It would suit someone who has come from a fast paced FMCG background. Other projects will include catalogue and promotional material.

You will be working across a variety of brands on a whole range of different packaging projects. This company covers a big mixture of sectors including gardening, household, automotive, DIY, stationery, cosmetics and sports aids.

This is a fast paced environment, so excellent attention to detail and a the ability to hit deadlines is key. You will need to have a high level of skill using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, along with a sound knowledge of artworking.

You will also be adhering to brand guidelines and you will need experience of producing cutter guides, creating mock-ups and manipulating images.
