Fantastic opportunity to for someone with trade / merchant accounts experience to step into a field sales role. Get out on the road and meet customers across the Midlands.
Take over a well-established territory (around 100 accounts) where you will be developing and retaining trade, merchant & retail customer accounts with some new business thrown in.

This ace opportunity would suitsomeone from a trade counter background looking to take the next step into a Field Sales Account Management role - 80% Account Development and Growth managing a portfolio of merchant and trade accounts across a large territory. Work for a cracking Midlands based Distribution SME specialising in Building Products who are growing in capacity, locations, and team.We need someone confident speaking to customers who can be proactive in developing existing and new trade accounts.

The Role:

  • A classic proactive account management development field sales role specialising in selling building products into a trades and merchant account base
  • Ideally you will be based close to the Midlands (Liverpool down to Worcester across to Derby including North/Mid Wales)
  • Generate some new business sales and account growth, depending on experience
  • You will be based from home, and on the road - ideally the client’s site and at new appointments
  • Develop a strong relationship with trade accounts
  • Deal with decision makers
  • Sell into trade, increase sales, grow the account!

The Candidate:

  • Synergy with Building Products, and knowledge of trade and merchant accounts
  • Ability to be a focussed account manager - with some new business and account growth, have confidence and great communication, be someone who can push back and demand more.
  • Fantastic team player
  • Pro-active, professional with excellent sales and account management skills
