Our client, a leading high street fashion footwear specialist, has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join their team in Central London. The head office team have drive and enthusiasm for fashion and footwear and the ranges they offer. This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join the team within a fast-paced demanding retail environment!
You will take ownership of the trading in the department as well as planning ranges with the buying team in order to maximise sales opportunities. Other responsibilities include:
 
  • Producing and analysing weekly reports
  • Managing intake and exit margins
  • Planning promotions and markdowns for the department
  • Analysing past performance to build future strategies
  • Build relationships with other departments.
  • Training and development of the team in line with objectives
  • Contribute to meetings with senior management
  • Attend supplier meetings
