Gleesons has been Exclusively partnered with a Freight business looking for a Junior Freight Forwarder This Opportunity would be best fitted to a professional looking to further grow their career in a well-established business.

Job Title: Freight Forwarder

Locations: Nottingham (Central)

Duties:

  • Coordinate transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare shipping documents, ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Arrange cargo space, negotiate rates, select efficient routes.
  • Monitor shipments, provide updates, resolve issues.
  • Facilitate clearance process, ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Address client inquiries, provide quotes, offer solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate transportation risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise logistics.
  • Arrange consolidation, coordinate with warehouses.
  • Negotiate rates, manage contracts for cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and regulations for process enhancement.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in Freight - Road / Sea / Air

Qualification in Supply chain / Freight
