This role requires a Junior Finance Business partner for a Public sector and government organisation in Cambridge. The candidate will be responsible for financial management, budgeting and liaising with various stakeholders within the company.

This organisation is a large Public sector and government entity that operates in the heart of Cambridge with a workforce of over 500 employees.

Description

  • Manage the financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Provide financial advice to senior stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on financial performance
  • Implement financial control and risk management
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure financial efficiency
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Support the accounting team in their daily operations

Profile

A successful Junior Finance Business Partner should have:

  • Exceptional knowledge of financial planning and budget management
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency in financial software applications
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
