The Junior Estimator is a pivotal member of the sales team, playing a critical role in ensuring the company secures contracts and efficiently manages the order process from inception to completion. Acting as the primary liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders, this role requires meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities: -

  • Acknowledge receipt of tender enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of tender return dates, ensuring all submissions meet deadlines.
  • Verify project details for accuracy, facilitating smooth order processing.
  • Obtain and update project/client information as necessary.
  • Initiate Request For Information or Tender Clarification Requests to clarify project specifications for accurate cost estimation.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with Quantity Surveyors and Contractors to foster collaboration and streamline processes.
  • Oversee the entire order process, ensuring adherence to timelines and requirements.
  • Obtain confirmation of order receipts and maintain records accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and sample-making teams to facilitate seamless operations.

Candidate Profile: -

  • Demonstrated proficiency in order processing and cost estimation techniques.
  • Proven experience in effectively managing tender enquiries, with a keen understanding of industry-specific processes.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret technical drawings with precision.
  • Previous involvement in construction, architecture, engineering, or fit-out projects is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude, coupled with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Impeccable organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
