Have you completed a BTEC, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering and you’re keen to find a role which will teach you Electrical Design Engineering?

  
Look no further, we’re exclusively hiring a Junior Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a leading specialist manufacturer of high-tech devices and instrumentation. This organisation was originally a University spinout and has gone from strength to strength over the last 10 years, growing year on year. The successful Junior Electrical Design Engineer will be joining a relaxed and supportive environment, where you can pick and choose your start and finish times. The company have recently introduced a condensed working scheme, so every other week you can enjoy a 4 day working week. Our client is looking for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer who is passionate about electrical engineering and really wants to progress a career within electrical design.

  
Key Responsibilities
The successful Junior Electrical Design Engineer will need to be an enthusiastic and self-motivated engineer with excellent analytical and technical skills. You will also have a combination of key responsibilities:
  • Analysing and comprehending project specifications and technical requirements.
  • Translating complex engineering concepts into actionable design criteria.:
  • Evaluating various design options to identify efficient and economical solutions.
  • Balancing performance, quality, and cost considerations.
  • Generating detailed electronic and hard copy drawings.
  • Compiling comprehensive manufacturing information, including Parts Lists, Bills of Materials, Routings, and Job instructions.
  • Collaborating closely with fellow engineers and technicians throughout the design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing phases.
  • Facilitating effective communication to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Adhering to the FMBO ISO 9001 quality system.
  • Ensuring that design processes align with established quality standards.
  
Our client is looking for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer with at least a BTEC, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering. You will have a year or two’s experience already under you belt, but this may be as a hands-on technician, or test technician, looking to develop and progress into Electrical Design. You will have ideally used CAD software.
  

Our client is offering an excellent salary of up to £30,000pa, an excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday, contributory pension, life insurance, relaxed and flexible working environment.
