Junior Design Engineer required for my client within the plastics industry, based near to South Woodham Ferrers.

The successful engineer will be mentored and work alongside a senior designer. They will produce clear concise drawings / designs and work to the company management briefs and guidelines.

Junior Design Engineer Position Overview

  • Create new products, including 3D designs, prototyping and testing.
  • Execute robust design process and continuous improvement.
  • Take client brief either from Account manager or client.
  • Time management and planning workload with Head of Design.
  • A can do attitude.

Junior Design Engineer Position Requirements

  • Excellent level of knowledge using Solidworks.
  • Good level of knowledge using Adobe Suite.
  • Product Design degree would be preferred.
  • Good problems solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good Word and Excel skills.
  • Commutable distance of South Woodham Ferrers.
  • Full UK driving license.

Junior Design Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary - £22,000 to £26,000 - dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications
  • Full time position
  • Holiday package
  • Company Pension Scheme
