An established Business Services group with excellent growth potential and development are partnering with the NET Professional team regarding a Junior Credit Controller position that's in Southampton. With a strong team that is expanding, the company in question offer a high-quality service, receiving excellent feedback consistently.  They provide cash flow solutions to their clients, handling elements of strategic planning and credit control.

The position holder will be joining an established team of Credit Controllers working at varying levels within their career. The Junior Credit Controller will be supporting the team with collection duties, and developing their own skills to advance within their career.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting collection duties within several client accounts, providing assistance to senior credit controllers on customer queries
  • Proactively making credit control calls to chase current and overdue debt
  • Escalating any issues up towards the Collections Manager and senior Credit Controllers
  • Performing against targets individually whilst contributing to the
    overall productivity of the team
  • Undertaking any additional ad-hoc responsibilities as required by the Senior Management team

What you will need to Apply:

For this role, applicants will need to possess strong communication skills and have a positive telephone manner, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to act in a calm and coordinated manner. Applicants will need to be meticulous with details, showing knowledge and versatility with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, alongside accounts systems such as Sage. Previous experience in credit control would be highly beneficial and is ideally expected to be considered for this role, however strong customer service profiles are also desirable.

What you will get in Return:
For this position, applicants can receive a salary up to £25,000; depending upon experience, with discretionary profit & performance-related bonuses. You will also be eligible to receive private medical cover after 1 years' service, as well as catering services provided every day, including breakfasts.

While in this position, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly in a hybrid capacity and this can be discussed with the line manager to ensure your needs are catered for.
