We're looking for a Junior Buyer to join out client in the Life Science industry. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, highly organised, and possess strong negotiation skills.

Client Details

Our client is a large-scale organisation located in Manchester, operating in the Life Science industry. They are renowned for their comprehensive healthcare solutions and have an established reputation in the market for their innovative and high-quality services.

Description

  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure competitive prices
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimum stock
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to forecast future supply needs
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement reports
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Procurement & Supply Chain team

Profile

A successful Junior Buyer should have:

  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • The ability to make effective decisions under pressure
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge of the Life Science industry would be advantageous

Job Offer
