Junior Buyer

Our client, a well established and growing manufacturing and engineering company, are looking for a Junior Buyer to join their team. As a Junior Buyer you will be responsible for ordering parts and helping to maintain the flow of products throughout the company. You will liaise with suppliers to ensure stock upkeep, reducing costs of parts and sourcing new suppliers to increase supply chain efficiency. You don't need to have worked in a purely buying focused position in the past to be right for this role, as long as you have had purchasing / procurement responsibilities as part of your previous experience.

Junior Buyer - Role and Skills - Procurement / Buying / Supply chain / Purchasing

* Past experience in a procurement / buying type of role (don't need to have been solely a buyer, do need to have done some buying)
* Proficient in Microsoft applications
* Previous experience of ERP / MRP systems
* Good Excel skills
* Some admin experience, with good attention to detail
