Junior Buyer / Sales Engineer

Junior Buyer / Sales Engineer required. Our client is a well-established procurement specialist within the engineering sector based in Colchester, who are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Buyer / Sales Engineer to join the team.

• Researching and liaising with potential vendors.
• Obtaining and comparing pricing from suppliers.
• Negotiating on price and terms of business.
• Preparing quotations for customers.
• Placing and handling purchase orders.
• Track and progress orders to meet customer delivery dates.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure quality of goods and deliveries are met on time.
• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
• General customer service-related duties.

• Previous experience within a Purchasing or Sales Engineering related role
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Full UK Driving License
• IT proficient
• Based in a commutable distance of Colchester

• Salary: £30-35K OTE
• Bonus: The Company runs a bonus scheme which details of would usually be provided at the end of the first year of employment.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 0830 - 17:00, 37.5 hour working week, some work outside of these hours may be required due to the nature of the business.
• Annual leave: 25 days per annum plus public holidays.
• Workplace pension with employer's contribution.
• Private healthcare is offered after the first year of employment.
