Junior Buyer - remote working

This is a remote role requiring 1 day per month in Gloucester and adhoc site visits again no more than 1/2 days per month.

The Role: 

Due to continued growth and success our client from the private Education industry are looking to grow their existing procurement team with the addition of a Procurement Assistant/Junior Buyer. Reporting to the Head of Procurement,

you will manage all day to day enquiries from within the group. You will work collaboratively with other members of the procurement team to make most effective use of the resources available across the procurement function and ensure the maintenance of accurate and complete electronic records. You will have day to day administrative responsibilities including researching, supporting tender preparation and managing POs.

Experience:

• practical experience in a junior procurement role
• willingness to develop within a procurement department 
• ability to pick up process and work pro-actively to support senior procurement professional
• understanding of procurement processes
