The Client

We are delighted to be working with award-winning, family-owned business that stands as one of the largest independent pharmacy chains in the UK and Europe. With roots tracing back to a single pharmacy, they've skyrocketed to over 200 pharmacies across the UK. This large UK based Pharmacy covers the whole of the nation with continual expansion plans across Europe.

The client is a dynamic group with a cutting-edge central distribution division, supplying thousands of pharmaceutical products to their retail and partner pharmacies, as well as other clients in the UK market.

The role

Working directly with the CFO and Retail Business Partner this role will play a pivotal part in the retail development of the business. This role offers an ambitious finance professional the chance to both develop their business partnering and commercial finance experience.

This role will be one of the main points of contact for finance across the whole retail aspect of the business. You will have full ownership of senior relationships, as well as full ownership of pieces of the group P+L.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering with various Senior Stakeholders.
• Variance / trend analysis.
• Ownership of full parts of Group P+L.
• Ad-hod tasks / projects alongside CFO and Retail FBP.
• Budgeting / Forecasting.
• Travelling to various sites to both build and manage relationships.
• Seeking opportunities / threats within retail departments

What we need to see:

• Studying or Part Qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
• 1-2 years' experience in commercial finance
• Commercial mindset
• Experience in Finance Business Partnering

What we would like to see:

• Experience in retail-based business.
• Happy to travel to various sites across the UK.
• Experience working on P+L

Salary: £45,000-£53,000

Start date: ASAP
