Junior Account Handler

As Junior Account Handler, you will learn your trade within a specialist team and be responsible for providing support on broker accounts, aiming to maximise revenues and growth. Full training and support will be provided, and our client will put you through your CII qualifications.

This role would suit an ambitious individual with some insurance experience, ideally with a bit of commercial knowledge though this could also suit somebody from a Personal Lines background looking to get into commercial.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Having day-to-day contact with clients, delivering a high-quality level of service whilst also providing outstanding administrative support to the team.
• Working closely with the operations function, ensuring good credit control is sustained.
• Dealing with and resolving customer service enquiries promptly and accurately.
• Ensuring accounts, risk documentation and claims are dealt with in a swift and efficient manner.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Basic insurance knowledge and experience would be fantastic, along with commercial insurance administration experience.
• We would also be happy to consider applications from ambitious individuals from different backgrounds such as customer service.
• Be keen to work and develop a career in the insurance industry, with willingness to work towards insurance qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a highly professional telephone manner, able to build rapport easily and provide an outstanding service to customers and clients.
• A keen eye for detail, well-organised and able to prioritise work effectively.
