Bruin’s Plumbing and Heating Ltd. in Red Deer, Alberta Canada is currently recruiting Journeyperson Plumbers in their Residential New Construction department. Our Residential Plumber is an integral member of the Bruin’s team installing the plumbing from the initial drain-waste-vent (DWV) rough in, gas, water distribution, hydronic heating and fixtures in new residential homes from starter home to custom built residences. Our Residential Plumbers are highly efficient with a focus on quality control. Working independently, yet with supervision, demonstrating excellent time management skills, the Residential Plumber produces high quality work and that reflects ownership and accountability.

JOB DUTIES

  • Basic plumbing
  • Drain, waste and vent
  • Waterline distribution systems
  • Fixtures
  • Installing hydronic heating
  • Gas-fitting
  • Install tankless water heaters, hot water tanks, boilers
  • Read, understand and follow blueprints

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Journeyperson ticket/certification or level 6 plumbing certificate (issued by FETAC/QQI)
  • Ability to problem solve and diagnose
  • Experience with hand tools
  • International Driver's License or Class 5 Canadian Driver's License
