Java Developer - Rates Algo Trading

New contract role in London paying up to £850 per day (inside IR35)(Umbrella)

This is an opportunity to work for a business-critical, high-performing team within a global investment bank on a contract basis.

They are about to embark on a new multi-year, initiative to help optimise the performance of their Rates Algo trading platform.

The team is looking for one more developer skilled in Java with a strong numerical background and good electronic trading/ Algo Trading and low latency experience.

Key skills for the Java Developer;

• Core Java - low-level programming (low latency)
• Electronic/ Algo trading experience
• Front office experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Fixed Income experience
• Keen interest in financial products (FX, Fixed income)
• Experience working in an agile environment
