Senior Fullstack Developer - Fintech, Central London, £80-90K + bens. You should have a strong background as a Fullstack developer with expert level frontend development skills and strong backend development and APIs.

Job Description:

As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications. Aside from our API, these UI components are the main interaction our clients and their customers have with us.

The ideal candidate should have expert level skills in frontend development, as well as strong proficiency in backend development and APIs. Excellent development experience with modern javascript frameworks, backend technologies and testing tools are necessary.

Our technical stack includes Vue, React, Next.js, Nuxt.js, Node.js, Java, Spring, Jasmine, Karma, Enzyme and Selenium.

Experience in aggregation businesses or fintech is also highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new customer
facing products and features.
Develop scalable and high-performance web applications and components for both
frontend and backend.
Implement and maintain internal APIs for seamless integration between frontend and
backend systems.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding
standards and and take ownership of QA to ensure robust, secure applications..
Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimising application performance for both
cost-effectiveness and quality, and ensure security best practices are followed.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user
interfaces.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine specifications
and requirements.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, promote knowledge sharing, and
ensure high development standards across the organisation.

This role requires just 1 day a week in the office.

This Senior Fullstack Developer role is based in Central London and pays c£80-90K base + pension, BUPA.
