Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a company based in London that works within the PropTech sector and is looking to expand the team and hire a Java Developer who has experience as a Financial Analyst or is very experienced with Internal Rate of Return or Cash Flow Modelling.

The company works in a hybrid way and you will be required in the office 2 days per week (Tuesdays/Wednesdays).

You will find yourself joining a small company of 15, this role will be working across the full software development lifecycle but you will also find yourself working specifically on refactoring a cash flow modelling engine which the company has been working on for the last few years. You will be using Java as your main coding language with SQL and Springboot.

Must-Have requirements:

- Experience with Java

- Experience with SQL

- Financial Analyst experience

- Financial modelling experience - Specifically Cash Flow Modelling and Internal Rate of Return (IRR)

- Strong experience working within a Banking or Investment company

- 2:1 or 1st Class Degree (Ideally in Finance / Mathematics / Computer Science)

Desirable:

- Experience of any relevant coding language (Java preferable as learning Java will be a requirement on the job)

- HTML/CSS

- Springboot

- JSP

- React

- REST

- JWT

The salary for this position is up to £80,000 (could be flexible DOE) + discretionary Bonus up to 10% + 25 days holiday + Flexible working hours.
