A Japanese logistic company is currently recruiting a Japanese speaking Export Operations Supervisor to work in their Export Department in London.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the export department, overseeing day-to-day operations, trade compliance, customs procedures, and client relations.
The role will suit those with experience in exporting at a similar company and business level in both English and Japanese.(If you have the potential to fit well into the Japanese work culture, you will be considered even if you are not fluent in Japanese.)

TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30 from Monday to Friday
SALARY: £36K depending on experience, plus good benefits
START: Negotiable
LOCATION: west London (Office-based)

Export Operations Supervisor Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate department activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables
• Evaluate department processes, and recommend and coordinate necessary changes based on process analysis
• Supervise export staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems
• Coach and provide career development advice to staff
• Responsible to meet department productivity goals
• Serve as the department representative at meetings with clients and suppliers

Export Operations Supervisor Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years of export matter experience
• Knowledge of export processes, procedures, and technology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese
