IT Technician / Computer Engineer to do Field Service

EPOS Field Service Engineer

Looking for someone confident on PC hardware to undertake swap outs of IT and EPOS equipment (electronic point of sale - till systems) for well-known retail brands all over mostly the East London / Essex area: E, IG, RM or CM Postcodes, towns like: Ilford, Romford, Brentwood etc.

You must have a full manual driver’s licence to apply for this role. You will be required to drive to multiple sites per day, to attend field service calls on the IT and EPOS equipment in the client's customer's stores.

Training on EPOS hardware will be given.

The role requires work 5 days out of 7 to cover Saturday and Sunday, on 1 in 2 Saturdays 1 in 3 Sundays.

Standard hours 0900 - 17:30, overtime paid outside of this.

Package of £26700 - £27700 + Van + overtime; made up of a Basic salary of £23800 + £900 Outer or £1900 Inner London Weighting and shift / rotation on call payments of around £2000 per annum.

This is a 40 hour per week full time PAYE contract.

Any additional hours work, overtime is paid at x1.5 Mon - Saturday and x2 Sunday and bank holidays (most Engineers do £3000 per annum in overtime).

You will the Evening On Call Engineer 1 week in 6, where you work 12:00 - 20:00 + emergency on call.

This is a full-time permanent job with a fully expensed company van (with personal use), pension, paid holiday, and private medical insurance.
