Job Opportunity - Infrastructure Engineer

Location - Langley Mill, Derbyshire

Salary - Up to £55,000, depending on experience.

Key Areas - Microsoft, Azure, M365, Exchange, Hyper-V, Office, Server, VMware, HP, Dell, Stone, Routing, Switching, Hardware, Software, Operating Systems, Windows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining Hyper-V and similar virtualization technologies.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in routing and switching, particularly around HP-based hardware.
  • Overseeing Windows Server-based systems, including DNS, DHCP, IIS, NPS, RDS, and DFS.
  • Utilizing Active Directory expertise to manage multiple forests and domains effectively.
  • Leveraging your excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server 2019, Exchange 2019, Hyper-V clustering, Windows 10/11, and Office 2019 / Microsoft 365.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and other virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency in routing and switching with a focus on HP-based hardware.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server-based systems, including DNS, DHCP, IIS, NPS, RDS, and DFS.
  • Expertise in managing Active Directory across multiple forests and domains.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft technologies, up to Windows Server 2019, Exchange 2019, Hyper-V clustering, Windows 10/11, and Office 2019 / Microsoft 365.
