About the Role

Hampshire County Council are undergoing a series of office moves and relocations. There is a requirement to disassemble and relocate IT equipment to new areas ready for staff to move into.

An IT Technician is required on a contract basis to assist with this work and to perform other desktop support duties as required. This role is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Essential skills and experience

  • Recent experience of 2nd line Desktop IT Support (Windows 11)
  • Experience of delivering and setting up end user IT devices into an office environment
  1. Strong self -organisation and self-motivation behaviors
  2. Good problem-solving skills
  3. Management of stock/ asset management systems
  4. Strong customer communication skills in person and over phone, with experience of managing difficult customers
  5. Lifting and carrying - physically fit
  6. Clean Driving License

Desirable Skills and Experience

  1. Microsoft InTune and Windows Autopilot
  2. Android smartphone and Tablet Support

Working Location

  • Winchester (EII Court)
  • Various offices in Hampshire
  • Remote working is not expected.
