IT Support Technician – Up to £32,000 + Excellent Benefits – Dartford

Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IT support technician with a market leading Design Company who are based in Dartford, Kent.

Reporting to the IT Manager, working as part of a small team to assist the business with general IT Support and First Line Support of their IT systems. Assisting with basic Microsoft Office software usage and working to update and amend process documentation for all IT processes.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Support configuration of new desktop computers and laptops for all staff
  • Assist with the Cyber Security program (Training, MFA)
  • Identify Support process gaps and suggest/implement changes
  • Develop solutions to issues within existing system toolset
  • Plan and working flexibly to deadlines
  • Support users on change control and system updates
  • Support training for users of a new system
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems including data migration
Skills & Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience of working within an IT Support environment
  • Advanced level within MS Office (365) particularly Excel
  • Understanding of ERP systems (preferably Sage) and business processes
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all within an attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Confident decision maker
Package:
  • Up to £32,000 basic salary
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
