Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 PLUS 31 Days Holiday (Plus BH), Private Healthcare, Local Government Pension, Electric Vehicle Scheme, Certification / Qualifications (Paid)

We are currently looking for a confident IT Support Technician to join a well established, Private Education Trust based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a high level of service delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, via both onsite and remote support
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Provide training and technical advice to customers and end-users
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Monitor system performance and ensure system security
• Participate in the implementation of new systems and technologies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:
• Experience within the Education Sector is preferred but not essential
• Technical Knowledge of Windows Server, Networking, and Virtualization Technologies such as Hyper-V or VMWare
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and other cloud technologies
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
