Overview:
As we are expanding, we are looking for someone keen and eager to support these & future customers.

We are looking for an aspiring technician, looking to quickly learn the world of IT through a Level 3 Technical Support apprenticeship & hands-on experience. 

Location: Surrey, GU26 6TD

Duties: 
The role will play an important part in the day to day running of our customer infrastructure, all of which includes:

  • Manage IT devices via our RMM & security systems
  • Taking telephone calls to provide over-the-phone support
  • Replying to ticket requests via our RMM
  • Monitoring IT infrastructure & services such as servers, both on-premise and cloud-based.
  • Undertake training and industry-related courses that benefit the job role

The apprentice will be based at our recently refurbished office in Liphook, Hampshire, and will be equipped with ultrawide displays, ergonomic chairs and standing desks.

Beneficial, but not required, previous experience with IT, customer service or retail.

You will need the ability to be able to commute to our Hindhead & Liphook offices
[Transportation to customer sites can be provided however use of own car will be commissioned for] 

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: 

  • 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm -- with a 30 minute lunch break 

Pay & Benefits:

  • The starting salary of £14,000 p.a, will move up progressively as the apprentice progresses.
  • Can lead to new roles being taken up including senior IT support engineer which offers better benefits 
  • Apprenticeship is a fixed 18-month duration, 15 months being practical 
  • Contact based on an 18-month term 
  • 4 Day working week with 1 day dedicated to your apprenticeship work
