Job role: IT Support Specialist

Location: Liverpool / Hybrid

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum

We're on the lookout for an energetic IT Support Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team. This role offers a gateway into the world of IT, allowing you to immerse yourself in a variety of tasks within their vibrant SME setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Offer top-notch assistance as a frontline troubleshooter, swiftly resolving hardware and software hitches for our users, ensuring a seamless IT experience.

• Collaborate closely with our network aficionados to maintain and optimize our state-of-the-art systems.

• Employ your analytical prowess to craft insightful reports on IT performance and challenges, aiding our decision-making processes.

• Act as a liaison with external vendors, ensuring smooth cooperation and premium service delivery.

• Take the helm in procuring IT equipment and services, ensuring we're equipped for excellence in our daily operations.

• Contribute your expertise to exciting IT projects, driving innovation and enhancement across the board.

• Spearhead the management and upkeep of our IT infrastructure, guaranteeing its security, reliability, and currency.

Desired Skills and Credentials:

• A genuine passion for IT, complemented by relevant qualifications or hands-on experience in the field.

• Proficiency in Windows 10, Server, and Hyper-V, showcasing your technical acumen.

• Solid grasp of networking principles, facilitating seamless connectivity and communication.

• Familiarity with software applications such as InspHire and Microsoft Great Plains, enhancing your value to our systems.

• Experience with Office 365, ensuring adeptness with modern collaborative tools.

• Database management skills, including familiarity with Qlikview, enabling effective data analysis.

• Sound knowledge of IT security principles, ensuring robust protection against potential threats.

• Proficiency in Active Directory management, facilitating efficient handling of user accounts and access permissions.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for tackling technical challenges head-on.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective interaction with colleagues and end-users.

• A team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative environment and recognizing the power of collective effort.
