Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an IT Network/Infrastructure Support Engineer for a reputable client based near Loughborough. This role offers the chance to join a dynamic technical team and work on a wide range of software and hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users via remote assistance, telephone, and email.
  • Manage ticketing systems and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Handle account setups, system configurations, and hardware deployments.
  • Assist with software installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain network infrastructure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for hardware and software procurement.
  • Implement and maintain backup solutions for data protection.
  • Contribute to project-based initiatives and cost monitoring activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Core Stack and networking technologies.
  • Certification in Microsoft technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with virtualization and backup technologies is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
