IT Project Manager

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join the team.

Location: Southampton (hybrid 2 days in the office)

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum + bonus and benefits

Job Type/Hours: Full time, permanent

IT Project Manager – The Role:

They are looking for an new IT Project Manager to join their IT team who can act as the conduit between the IT and delivery teams and their external clients. As part of this role, you will be the spreadhead the development, enhancement and delivery of our clients new and existing product suite. This role will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivering on time to a high standard through excellent resource allocations and team management.

IT Project Manager – Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate comprehensive project plans, supervising schedules, key milestones, and resource distribution

- Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to facilitate seamless project implementation

- Recognise and mitigate potential risks, employing strategies to reduce disruptions

- Cultivate open communication among stakeholders, furnishing regular updates and swiftly resolving issues

- Confront challenges directly, employing efficient solutions to maintain project momentum

- Identify avenues for process improvement, promoting efficiency and high standards in project management

- Submit weekly progress reports

- Coordinate with Development and Test managers to establish delivery deadlines

- Conduct Stand-up meetings

IT Project Manager - You:

- 10+ years of project management experience within the Retail SaaS or similar SaaS environment

- Excels in a client facing role with a proven track record in working directly with key internal and external stakeholders

- Adept at manage large enterprise level projects worth £1 million+

- Strong technical understanding with the ability to communicate with development teams and stakeholder effectively

- Willingness to travel to client sites

- Able to manage multiple projects in an Agile environment with an understanding of other methodologies such as Waterfall

- Excellent time management skills, detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and delegate
