An exciting opportunity beckons for an experienced IT Projects Engineer to excel within an established company, where you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the implementation of projects to a wide range of clients.

This position provides an opportunity to further develop your current skills and leverage your career-acquired expertise. As an IT Project Engineer, you will be responsible for executing projects for diverse clients. These projects encompass complex system migrations, security enhancement, and Office 365 implementation. By doing so, you will assist clients in aligning with their IT roadmap to fulfil their specific requirements.

The company is a Microsoft Solutions partner and have been established for over a decade providing high quality solutions to their customers. They have a client base in London and various parts of Europe. Due to their growth, they are currently on the lookout for an IT Projects Engineer due to organic growth.

This opportunity allows you to broaden your experience in the IT sector and work with innovative Microsoft technologies. You will split your time between working on projects in the office and being able to work from home a minimum of once per day, with the company office in Borehamwood. You will look to thrive in a highly technical environment where the team look out for each other.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in MSP environment with a minimum of 3+ years of strong understanding of Microsoft 365, security hardening, Windows server, conditional access, Intune, and device enrolment. You will have a strong interest in security and having certification on Microsoft will be highly desirable.

The person:

• Minimum of 3 years in a commercial IT Support environment, preferably within an MSP setting
• Proven experience in various projects, including Office 365 implementation, EMS (covering Intune, Conditional Access, Autopilot, and other 365 security features), Mimecast, Azure platform, and hosted telephony
• Adaptable to flexible working arrangements and willing to commute to Borehamwood
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users

The role:

• Leading the implementation of projects for a diverse clientele, ranging from simple, one-day tasks to multifaceted, complex system migrations and security enhancements
• Active involvement in deploying Office 365, EMS, Mimecast, Azure platform, and hosted Telephony solutions
• Ensuring successful project delivery to assist clients in achieving their IT roadmap objectives and meeting their evolving demands
• Establishing swift rapport with customers and delivering outstanding customer service by simplifying technical concepts for non-technical users
