My Client, is on the lookout for an IT Field Engineer who is local to Newcastle on a 9 month contractual Basis.

Location: Newcastle ( Must be located within a 30 minute commute)

Day Rate: £120 - £150 P/D

Duration: 9 Months

Note: Must hold a UK drivers licence and have use of their own car

Main Duties

  • Develop and implement a detailed strategy for introducing Microsoft 365 (M365) services across my client's communities, aiming to ensure a smooth transition with little disruption and high levels of engagement from users.
  • Visit various client sites to evaluate the current state of IT infrastructure, implement M365 solutions, and offer direct training and support to clergy, staff, and volunteers associated with my client.
  • Work in partnership with personnel at my client's locations to highlight the advantages of switching to M365 and assist in moving from old systems to modern, cloud-based technologies.
  • General IT Assistance and Educational Services
  • Provide immediate IT support and troubleshooting at my client's locations, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networks during the M365 transition.
  • Create educational materials, hold workshops, and offer tailored training sessions to help members associated with my client effectively utilize M365 tools and applications.
  • Integration and Management of IT Infrastructure
  • Facilitate the smooth integration of my client's IT systems with M365 services, ensuring compatibility of networks, proper security settings, and effective data transfer.
